Responsible Production & Trade

Read how the FSI members aim for 100% responsibly produced and traded volumes, using the FSI Basket with independently benchmarked standards and sourcing commitments for trading and retailing members.

INTRODUCTION

To define what Good Agricultural and Good Social Practices look like, FSI has developed a comprehensive process that maps, challenges and continuously improves these definitions.
The FSI Basket has been set up to map floriculture standards, make them fully transparent on ESG criteria using the ITC Sustainability Map and independent benchmarking of standards against set criteria.

The FSI Basket of Standards includes three scopes: GAP, Social and Environmental. All producers worldwide can comply with the FSI Basket requirements when they are certified by one of more of the accepted standards in GAP and Environmental scopes. For producers in risk countries a social certificate is an extra requirement.
